Mermaids at Coney Island

Once a year every summer, individuals from all over the New York area gather at Coney Island for the Mermaid Parade, a unique event where people jump out of their shell and show out in their best marine themed costumes. An event that coincidentally is the same location of the world famous Nathan’s hot dog eating contest. This is a continuing series of documented individuals who bring their best fin forward for this bizarre parade.
