Summer 2015, six weeks studying abroad in Italy with the art department at the University of North Florida; the first time I would leave Florida for longer than 13 days let alone the country. This is a collection of work that I made while away with the program; we traveled between Massa Maritima, a small town nestled on a hill somewhere in Tuscany, Florence and Rome where we spent the majority of our time abroad. Most of the work was made as a study of the Vatican while in Rome and the things that make up the world’s smallest city.
